NBA All Star Weekend is Approaching

By | February 11, 2015

As the NBA All Star Weekend ceremoniously approaches this weekend, we are reminded of how much we love watching the best players in the league competing (nowadays only in the 4th quarter) against each other in this yearly battle. With the talent we see on this years team it gives us a feeling of nostalgia when we reflect on the 1968 NBA All Star game that was a display of all the top players for that year as there minimal injuries before the break. John Havlicek didn’t win the All-Star MVP that night even though he was the games leading scorer(even beat out his old Ohio State teammate Jerry Lucas), knowing his personality he had no issue allowing Hal Greer who had a record night to have the spotlight.

Enjoy some highlights from that game
